Profound Objects

Tuesday, 01 April 2014

I would like to announce an upcoming exhibition of new work at the
Coningsby Gallery in June 2014. This is my third solo show at the Gallery.

In contrast to my public sculptures, I have been working with reclaimed and
found objects, transforming the old into new.

Profound Objects will be a highly personal collection of sculptures and wall
hanging low-relief works that explore loss, death, random chance encounters
and the profound effect that nature can have on the state of the human spirit
especially when it is at its most vulnerable.

I hope to bring beauty and humour to the work whilst challenging the viewer to
engage in the more complex rawness of the meanings behind it.

Public Art for Bradley Wiggins

Thursday, 13 February 2014

I am in the process of creating a new piece of permanent public art

for South Kilburn in London.

In recognition of Bradley Wiggins, the sculpture will have bike cogs and engraved

discs, which the children from St Augustine's school have designed.

Bradley Wiggins went to this school and the children are very inspired by this.

It's very much a community based project and very site specific.

The unveiling will be early April.

New exhibition

Thursday, 13 February 2014

I am doing a solo show at the Coningsby Gallery, just off Charlotte Street, in the West End, in June.

This will be my first show at this beautiful gallery for 15 years.

The work is going very well, details to follow, watch this space, as they say.....

Delamore Arts

Thursday, 13 February 2014

I have been invited back to exhibit at Delamore Arts in Devon, for the second year, which is exciting.

I am creating a sculptural hanging installation with 26 seperate elements.

The show will be on for the month of May and definitely worth a visit, the gardens alone are stunning.

Appearing in ITV's 60 Minute Makeover with Peter Andre, I was filmed creating this sculpture.

Here's a link to the show's own page: 60 Minute Makeover
