Displayed at the Mall Galleries in November 2017, as part of the ING Discerning Eye exhibition, ‘My Mother’s Shoes’ was a fun piece to make. As always, the raw materials generally dictate the outcome, and sometimes playing around with scale works within the piece. Hence the little girl’s shoes being too big for the body.
